“Am I taking my allergy medicines the right way?”
It’s a question you should be asking your doctor, of course. But it’s easy to forget, when you’re in the middle of your appointment, exactly what you need to know about your allergy meds. Here’s a list of questions to take with you to your next appointment:
What medications should I be taking every day (controller drugs)? What should I do if I miss a day?
Which drugs should I take when my allergies suddenly get worse (relief drugs)? Is it okay to use these drugs every day?
What are the side effects of my medicines? For what side effects should I call the doctor?
How will I know when my inhaler is getting empty? Am I using my inhaler the right way?
Can I use nasal spray that I can buy without a prescription?
